Important Information

- The Timber Trail’s predominantly wide and smooth surface classifies much of it as grade 2 (easy). Some decent climbs and trickier sections push it to grade 3 (intermediate) and make the whole ride best suited to reasonably fit, experienced cyclists.
- Adventure itinerary and price are subject to change.

Is insurance included?

Deaf Adventures has liability insurance that covers accidents and injuries that occur during our adventures ONLY within New Zealand. This does not cover any adventures overseas, or any personal travel cancellations, postponements, interruptions, or any medical expenses that are not caused by our adventures. For this reason, we highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance (e.g. World Nomads or Travelex).

What if I need to cancel?

We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable.

If you cancel at least 30 days before your trip start date, we will refund you in full (minus the deposit). If you cancel within 14 days of your adventure start date, we will refund 50% of your payment (minus the deposit). Cancellations less than 14 days before adventure start date cannot be refunded.

In the event that you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as you can.
