Travel by Shinkansen, ferry, and van as you experience vibrant urban neighborhoods, serene temples, and scenic coastal and countryside views. Highlights include a cruise through the iconic Matsushima Bay, cherry blossoms in Hirosaki, and cultural experiences in Aomori and Sapporo. Along the way, connect with Japan’s Deaf community through Deaf-owned restaurants and social spaces, while enjoying regional cuisine, historic sites, and unforgettable natural scenery. The journey concludes with a scenic overnight ferry and a final gathering in Tokyo before returning home with lasting memories

Itinerary

Apr 20
Meet at our hotel in Tokyo at noon. Enjoy lunch at a Deaf-owned ramen restaurant followed by an afternoon orientation. Visit Ginza’s Chuo-dori Street. Stay in Tokyo for 2 nights.

Apr 21
Visit Zojo-ji Temple and Tokyo Tower. Meet robots at a themed café, then explore Akihabara. Optional evening visit to a Deaf self bar.

Apr 22
Ride the Shinkansen north. Visit Zuihoden Mausoleum and the Sendai Castle ruins. Stroll along Jozenji-dori Avenue, known as the “City of Trees.” Stay in Sendai 2 nights.

Apr 23
Sightseeing cruise to Matsushima, one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views. Free time for shopping and exploring the islands before returning to the hotel.

Apr 24
Morning visit to Sendai’s Asaichi Market. Take the Shinkansen north to Aomori and settle in for a 3-night stay.

Apr 25
Visit Hirosaki Park and see cherry blossoms, Hirosaki Castle, Fujita Memorial Garden, and the Tsugaru Clan Neputa Village. Return to the hotel.

Apr 26
Explore the Sannai-Maruyama Historical Site. Enjoy a seafood rice bowl at Aomori Gyosai Center, then visit the Nebuta Museum WA RASSE. Return to the hotel.

Apr 27
Fly north to Sapporo. Visit Otaru Canal and Kitaichi Glass Hall. Stay in Sapporo for 3 nights.

Apr 28
Visit the Former Hokkaido Government Red Brick Building, Sapporo TV Tower, and the Sapporo Beer Museum. Enjoy city night views and local cuisine.

Apr 29
Day trip by van to Furano and Biei. Visit Farm Tomita and the Blue Pond. Return to Sapporo in the evening.

Apr 30
Visit the Hill of the Buddha at Makomanai Takino Cemetery. Travel to Tomakomai Port and board the overnight ferry. Farewell dinner onboard.

May 1
Enjoy scenic coastal views of northern Japan from the ferry. Arrive in Oarai and continue by express bus to Tokyo Station. Check in our hotel and have our last dinner together.

May 2
Farewell breakfast together. Transfer to Tokyo Airport for your departure flight.

This does not cover any adventures outside South Korea, or any personal travel cancellations, postponements, interruptions, or any medical expenses that are not caused by our adventures. Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable.

If you cancel at least 90 days before your adventure start date, we will refund you in full (minus the deposit). Cancellations less than 90 days before adventure start date cannot be refunded.

In the event that you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as you can.
