Fuji, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Nara Deer Park, and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Enjoy hands-on experiences such as ninja and samurai workshops, a traditional wooden sailboat ride, and local Deaf-owned eateries and businesses. Wrap up the adventure with a dinner cruise through Tokyo Bay before returning home with unforgettable memories.

Meet at our hotel in Tokyo. Visit Gotokuji Temple and learn shrine etiquette, followed by a welcome dinner at a Deaf-owned ramen restaurant. Stay in Tokyo for 3 nights.
Nov 20
Spend the day exploring the famous tri-cities: Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Optional evening gathering at a Deaf-owned bar.
Nov 21
Ascend Tokyo Skytree, the tallest building in Japan. Enjoy a hands-on sumo experience with lunch, then visit Senso-ji Temple. Participate in a calligraphy and origami workshop led by Deaf Japanese artists.
Nov 22
Pick up our rental van and drive to Hakone, stopping at Owakudani along the way to taste black eggs. Experience the original Amakaze at the Namasake Teahouse. Continue to Fujikawaguchiko and stay here for 2 nights.
Nov 23
Visit Chureito Pagoda for the iconic view of the pagoda framed by Mt. Fuji in the background. Explore Lake Kawaguchiko. Tour the Kubota Itchiku Art Museum.
Nov 24
Return to Tokyo and drop off the van. Travel 4 hours to Kusatsu. Watch a traditional Yumomi performance, explore the onsen town, and stay overnight in a ryokan (traditional Japanese guesthouse).
Nov 25
Bus to Nagano, then ride a Shinkansen to Kanazawa. Visit the Nomura House and stroll through the Nagamachi Samurai District to learn about samurai life. Explore Kanazawa Castle and its samurai garden. Stay in Kanazawa for 2 nights.
Nov 26
Participate in a gold leaf activity. Visit the Ninja (Myoryuji) Temple and Ninja Weapon Museum, with an optional shuriken experience.
Nov 27
Ride the Shinkansen to Kyoto. Visit to the Arashiyama Monkey Park and Bamboo Grove, followed by Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion). Free time in the afternoon for shopping or visiting Kiyomizu-dera. Stay in Kyoto for 3 nights.
Nov 28
Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine and enjoy free time in the surrounding area. Walk through the historic Gion district. Attend a Maiko/Geisha performance.
Nov 29
Bus trip to Ine Fishing Village and Amanohashidate (“Bridge to Heaven”). Return to Kyoto in the evening.
Nov 30
Morning visit to Nara to see the deer and pay respect at Todai-ji Temple. Continue to Uji, home of original matcha, and participate in a matcha experience. Travel to Osaka to explore and shop in Dotonbori. Stay in Osaka for the night.
Dec 1
Shinkansen to Hiroshima. Visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum with a local Deaf guide. Enjoy Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki. Stay in Hiroshima for 2 nights.
Dec 2
Day trip to Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine. Free time for lunch and shopping before returning to the hotel.
Dec 3
Ride shinkansen back to Tokyo and enjoy free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. End our unforgettable journey with a farewell dinner aboard a Yakatabune boat on Tokyo Bay.
Dec 4
Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable.
If you cancel at least 90 days before your adventure start date, we will refund you in full (minus the deposit). Cancellations less than 90 days before adventure start date cannot be refunded.
