Join us on this unique, water-based adventure in Australia! Embark on a sailboat & sail along the stunning coastlines of Northern Queensland, across the world-famous Great Barrier Reef. Plenty of amazing snorkelling opportunities along with commentary from your Deaf Sailing Captain Troy Stilwell will ensure that you get to experience all the best that Australia has to offer!
Price is $2,000 USD per person / double occupancy. A single supplement may apply.
A non-refundable $500 USD deposit is required to reserve your space.
Full payment is due 90 days before the adventure start date.
Day 1
Meet at Airlie Beach and embark at 6:00PM
Day 2
Sail for 3 hours from Airlie Beach to Nara Inlet, enjoying the Whitsunday Islands' natural beauty and keep an eye out for coral reefs and marine life
Day 3
Sail for 3 hours from Nara Inlet to Cid Harbour, exploring the island's walking trails and secluded beaches
Day 4
Sail for 3 hours from Cid Harbour to Hamilton Island, indulging in luxurious resorts, world-class restaurants, and vibrant nightlife
Day 5
Sail for 3 hours from Hamilton Island to Whitehaven Beach, marveling at its pristine silica sand and turquoise waters, perfect for swimming and sunbathing
Day 6
Sail for 6 hours from Whitehaven Beach to Butterfly Bay, discovering hidden coves, abundant coral reefs, and excellent snorkeling opportunities
Day 7
Sail for 4 hours from Butterfly Bay back to Airlie Beach, reflecting on your unforgettable Whitsunday Islands adventure.

Check-out & farewell by 9:00 a.m

- Deaf Adventures has liability insurance that covers accidents and injuries that occur during our adventures ONLY within New Zealand. This does not cover any adventures overseas, or any personal travel cancellations, postponements, interruptions, or any medical expenses that are not caused by our adventures. For this reason, we highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance (e.g. World Nomads or Travelex).
We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable.
If you cancel at least 90 days before your adventure start date, we will refund you in full (minus the deposit). If you cancel within 30 to 90 days before your adventure start date, we will refund 50% of your payment (minus the deposit). Cancellations less than 30 days before adventure start date cannot be refunded.
In the event that you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as you can.
Nautilus Sailing Adventures
Based in Largo, Florida, the team operates sailing adventures worldwide, including in France, Italy, British Virgin Islands, and more. The team consists of three Deaf certified sailing captains working alongside a wider team of experienced Deaf mates. Their mission is to provide sign language users with adventure and fun by sailing on a sailboat on coastal waters, meeting new people, and making lasting memories.
