This 14-day adventure in Croatia, Bosnia & Montenegro takes you to some of the most beautiful and historic places in the Balkans. You'll hike through the Plitvice Lakes National Park, visit the Old Town of Sarajevo, cross the Mostar Bridge, cruise on Kotor Bay, and explore the Black Mountains. This is the perfect adventure for travelers who want to experience the beauty of the Balkans while learning about the region's rich history with a team of experienced Deaf guides!
Price is $4,500 USD per person based on two people sharing a room. An additional cost may apply for a solo room.
A non-refundable $500 USD deposit is required to reserve your space.
Full payment is due 90 days before the adventure start date.











Day 1
Meet at Franjo Tuđman Zagreb International Airport (ZAG). Stay in Zagreb for 1 night.
Day 2
Half-day tour of Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, with a local Deaf guide. After lunch, drive 2 hours to a charming town for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Spend the morning walking among thousands of mesmerizing waterfalls at the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park. Afterwards, drive 2 and half hours to Split. Stay in Split for 3 nights.
Day 4
Morning walking tour of Split, visiting Diocletian's Palace. Then we visit a fresh farm-to-table restaurant for lunch. Afterwards, we visit Šibenik, the oldest coastal city in Croatia, known for its well-preserved old town and the UNESCO World Heritage site of St. James' Cathedral. Return to Split in the evening.
Day 5
Hop on a sailboat and go sailing along Croatia's coastline to visit five islands, including the famous Blue Cave on Bisevo Island.
Day 6
After checking out, we drive 3 hours to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon walking tour of the old town with a local Deaf guide, including a visit to the famous Stari Most (Old Bridge). Stay in Mostar for 3 nights.
Day 7
Full-day tour of Herzegovina, visiting four major attractions in the region including a historical village, monastery, and the sparkling Kravica Waterfall.
Day 8
Drive 2 hours one-way to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Spend the day touring around the war-torn city and learn more about its role in the Yugoslavian War. Return to Mostar in the evening.
Day 9
Head south to Kotor, Montenegro. Rest & walk around the old city. Optional sunset hike to the Kotor Fortress for a sweeping view of the bay. Stay in Kotor 3 nights.
Day 10
Dive into the Great Montenegro mountains with a full-day tour of the Black Mountains, Tara Canyon, and Zabljak Lake.
Day 11
Spend the morning on a leisurely cruise on the Bay of Kotor, with stops at the Blue Cave, the old town of Perast, "Our Lady of the Rocks” island, and more. Free time afterwards to rest, go shopping, or explore the town.
Day 12
Drive south to Dubrovnik, Croatia & ride the cable car up Mount Srd for a sweeping view of the city. Stay in Dubrovnik for 2 nights.
Day 13
Spend the day walking among the city's fortified walls at your own pace. Farewell dinner together in the evening.
Day 14
Transport to Dubrovnik International Airport (DBV) for your departure flight.

This does not cover any adventures overseas, or any personal travel cancellations, postponements, interruptions, or any medical expenses that are not caused by our adventures. For this reason, we highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance (e.g. World Nomads or Travelex).
We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable.
If you cancel at least 90 days before your adventure start date, we will refund you in full (minus the deposit). Cancellations less than 90 days before adventure start date cannot be refunded.
In the event that you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as you can.

Rachel Soudakoff was born and raised in Los Angeles, California in a Deaf family. After traveling to more than 50 countries, she decided to make her favorite country – New Zealand – her home. She has four years of experience of managing and operating trips around the world in sign language. When she’s not traveling, she’s researching hidden gems at her next destination.
